recently i have been reaping the rewards of my investment in CCC.com
2 to 3 years ago i was buying CCC.com for $20 to $60, of course now they are returning good profit with my lowest sale being $255 and my highest $1450.

Now is the time to invest in CCC.net if you want to see good returns for a small investment.

I have been buying CCC.net for some time now and have noticed they are getting harder to find, especially premium L & N

as the domain market continues to grow from an investment point of view, with more and more people turning to domains as a stable form of investment, IMO the market will continue to move quicker over the next 2 to 3 years.

as the LLL.com and .net markets continue to climb at a rapid rate with minimum buy prices for .com at $5400 and .net at $775, even LLL.org is now at $275

CCC.coms are now very difficult to find at under $200, with the latest quoted (1st Sept 08) minimum sales at

Also with the continuous high profile media coverage of short domain sales, webmasters are now turning to CCC.net as an affordable alternative for short memorable domains.

If we look at the market relationship between .com and .net we see an average value for .net of 15% of the .com market, if we then project this to the CCC.net market we see minimum prices (and remember these are lowest prices for non premium L&N)

Personally i feel we will see this stabilize over the next 6 months and continue to increase pro-rata in relation to the .com market

Now all the above considered you can now start to see why CCC.net are a good investment, OK they are getting harder to find, but apart from the odd one or two being flipped we also see some of the get rich quick domainers who; seeing the increased activity in CCC.com 6 to 10 months ago invested heavily in the CCC.net market, this contributed to the sell out of CCC.net

Now 6 to 10 months in they are getting jittery, renewals are starting to hang over them like a dark cloud, some of them with many hundreds where hoping they would have increased sufficiently in value by now to enable them to make their quick profit, but with renewals just round the corner some are starting to get worried, having over stepped their limits and not in a position to renew their entire portfolio they are starting to offload some to fund renewals.

Its still not difficult to buy CCC.net at under $20, i would strongly recommend that you don't pay over that unless the L&N are significant for some reason.

but if you need further confirmation that now is the right time to buy just check out the drop sites, i have been watching these for some time, very few CCC.nets are being dropped, take tdname godaddys drop site, for some time now a search on CCC.net reveals just one or two and these are the real bottom end of the market non premium LNL and NLN.

CCC.net represents a good investment i feel, i now have over 120 CCC.net in my portfolio.
I am now concentrating on specific L and N

I may re-look my ccc.net appraisals after reading your article. I think it is a good chance for mid -size domainers or even beginners to invest on ccc.net. There are about 5 ccc.net names drop every day and you may buy some nice one from other resellers.

I strongly believe in the marketing price for all Short and brandable gTLD domains will burst in next 2 or 3 years, esp when the Amerian's econmy crisis past.

BTW, I just searched my porfolio and find I only have one ccc.net, gu8.net, in my account. This domain is actually a Chinese customer targeted name, because of "Gu" is the Chinese Pinyin for "Stock", and "8" is the most lucky number in Chinese, "8" also has the same pronunceation with "Bar" in Chinese. as "bar" is a place you can drink and talk, So "Gu8" stands for "Stock Forum" in Chinese...

Ok, It is bit out of topic now. I will post some threads later to give you a brief idea on Chinese Targeted domains soon later and suggested by Chris.

And I am going to buy some ccc.nets now
