CVCV.Mobi, too early to invest?

The price for LLL.Mobi was jumping form $70 to $250 in a very short time after .Mobi lauched. I was though the CVCV.Mobi must be the next hot pie because of I believe the shorter, the better for Mobi domains.

Based on my logic, I registered about 40 very nice CVCV.Mobi domains in past 2 years. All are with Premium characters only and have Millions results on Google. few example for my CVCV Mobis are daca.mobi, bopa.mobi, deso.mobi...)

Sadlly, I don't get any offer for my beatiful CVCV.Mobis in past 2 years, either see any reported big sale for cvcv.mobi on the market. And more bad news is the marketing price for LLL.Mobi is decreasing

The domain world expected big for Mobi when it launched, but now looks mobi is still a dead tld for end users...

And for my cvcv.mobi, should I keep them for next 3 - 5 years?

i always thought having a 4 digit TLD for mobile use was silly, when you are accessing on a phone the less characters the better.

What would be a better alternative in your opinion? Generic TLDs have 3 letters and ccTLDs 2.
