ZL.COM on Namejet Auction, a real LL.COM domain!
Yes, it ZL.COM, a real LL.COM domain
Don't know what happended to the previous owner
Total 124 domainers backordered it and current high bis is $26,101. Sure the final bid will be much higher than this
Let's guess what would be the final bid
Hope I would have money for this, but I am a standby only rhis time
If you missed backorder it and you want to own this premium domain, plz hire me as your bidding agency

Re: ZL.COM on Namejet Auction, a real LL.COM domain!
What is quiet interesting is the method such drop services employ. Normally you cannot register 2 character domain names anymore, so if such a domain name drops, you normally cannot just re-register it. Here is where abuse seems to come in. Namejet is working with Network Solutions so Network Solutions will not let the name drop and renew it themself in the last minute to make some nice bucks by selling the name over Namejet while "normal people" could never register such a name.
While I enjoy domaining and like to see great deals, I find it very abusive of Network Solutions to take part in such deals - especially because it's a 2 character domain that would drop and never again become available.

Re: ZL.COM on Namejet Auction, a real LL.COM domain!
I think namejet are partner with both Network Solutions and Enom. I also read some articles in other place to point out that they play the trick to "renew it themself in the last minute" but I nerver know that is true or not.
However, most premium domains on Namejet's auction are not "Dropping and Deleted Domains", includes ZL.com. These domains are expried but in Redemption period. Namejet calls it as "Pre-release Domains". That is the reason there has a 42 days lock period if you won this kind of domains. And per the TOS, if the previous owner Redempt the domain in 42 days, the winner of the auction will be forced to give it back (Money will be refunded).
I participated thousands this kind of "Pre-release" Auctions on Namejet (Clubdrop before) and won about 300 domains there. Luckly none of them redempted by previous owner after I won it no matter what valuable they are
BTW, 1d 19h left for ZL.com's auction and current high bid is $33,100

Re: ZL.COM on Namejet Auction, a real LL.COM domain!
The auction close at a very low, unbelievable price!
US $45,100
It is a easy $100K domain if list it on Sedo, or Pool....
I should raise my bid at $50k or so if I relized the auction would be closed at such a low price, that is a steal.....
I am regeret thay I didn't waiting for the end of this Auction... Damm that all drop auctions end at 4:00 AM my local time
Wish the winner would not pay for it, then namejet can relist for a new auction
What do you guys think about this? The winter for domaining is coming because of Economy Crisis?
